My First Blog!

Hi Guys!
Well this is going to be my first of hopefully many blogs I will be posting over the next year or so. I'd just like to begin by thanking those who have already kindly donated to my cause and helped me get that much closer to reaching my goal. I've held fundraising events to try and raise money towards project trust such as
A charity showcase called 'Show You Care' which had a variety of great performers showcasing their talents all in aid of my cause.
I also held a cake sale at college and have planned to hold a few more, although after the mess I left my kitchen in after my first cake sale my mum has said I need to do the cake sale from a new, cleaner angle LOL
The maddest thing I have done so far made me Suck up my pride and come into college dressed as a smurf! Yes a smurf! Even though people said I looked a bit more like an avatar then a smurf the thought was still there. It made people a lot more aware of what I have been doing, especially those on my bus journey home! Which was a funny exprience as knowing me I managed to leave my make up wipes at home and so had to go home with my smurf face.

Whilst I have done these events I still have a lot more work to do, a lot, a lot more work to do to say the least. Im getting cracking sorting out doing a sky diving, going to contact plenty of super markets to see about doing bag packing, jewlerry partys, car washing (when the weather gets better of course), marathon dressed in another goofy outfit possibly as a super hero and more, if you guys have any ideas just email me :)

As exams are getting closer its getting harder and harder to utilise my time fully, so that i can combine fundraising with revision. Its hard because It's like i cant not revise because I'd only just fail and have no University to go to, and if i dont sort out my fundraising i won't end up getting to Peru. This had meant that my social life has become some what non existant! Which absolutly suchs with all my friends turning 18 this year, the prices of going raving is far from cheap!

If anyone is interested in donating I have thought about starting a 'buy a day' scheme, I've worked out that after taking away money I aim to get through my own fundraising events, a day in peru would cost around £8, so if someone donates £8 it is as if they are buying me a day, and they can choose any day in the year they want, be it your birthday, christmas, valentines day, my birthday, easter, or any day you seem to like in the year. That will mean i will send you a letter home on that day explaining exactley what i have done on the day you 'bought'. It makes donating a bit more personal I guess.

In may i find out where exactly I will be staying, the area, the orphanage and when I will be going, which will make everything that more realistic. I will post another blog when I know.

Anyways I have been talking way too much, or should i say typing way too much and should definitely get back to revising and get off facebook LOL.

Hope everyone is fine and all that. If anyone wants to contact me and doesn't know how to
email me on : tanyacompas@hotmail.co.uk
If anyone wants to make a donation go on

Lots Of Love
Tanya xxxx
